"Are you an artist, like art, or just like to have fun? Then come out to Novacon, Lubbock’s Artstravaganza, this Saturday, November 1st at the Garden and Arts Center from 9-5. There will be painting, sculpture, storytelling, poetry, comic books, anime, and lots more. You can even make your Halloween costume happy by wearing it for one more day before it gets put in the back of the closet.

Glorianna: The Raid - Comic Now online!

I drew this comic Glorianna: The Raid several years ago for my friend J. Kevin Carrier, a really great guy and one of the best small pressers around. I animated a TV COMMERCIAL

I only had a few days to work on it... and I've never used Flash before in my life... but I'm pretty happy with it. Its supposed to start airing locally next week on NBC and ABC leading up to the Texas Tech University VS. Texas football game November 1st.




Oh yeah... I also designed the T-shirt, with the help of the girl I work with. I am REALLy happy with how that turned out!

Look Up in the Sky!

So I was driving along university Ave in Lubbock the other day, and I look up at one of those new digital billboards and I see this...

My new t-shirt design for Red Raider Outfitter!!! I think I squealed a little bit. Stoked! It's the "road trip" shirt for the Texas Tech VS. A&M game this weekend. Its my first T-shirt for Outfitter and its the first time I've ever seen my art on a billboard. All kinds of awesomeness. It looks like the shirt is doing really well too! I'm excited.

The next one is going to be a knock-out. Not to mention, it will be tied in with another first for me... an ANIMATED TV commercial!!! I'll let ya'll know more about it as soon as I do!

Ron Roberts Caricature

I've been getting a lot of caricature commissions lately. This is one of Ron Roberts one of our local weather guys. Someone commissioned it for his birthday, I hope he liked it. Interesting side note, when I moved to Lubbock my senior year of HS, we only had three people come to talk to our graduating class about careers; the cops, the marines, and Ron Roberts. So for about 2 minutes I considered a career as a weather caster. Hmmmm.... maybe I should look into that again?
